BAKER
Direct Report
The Baker reports to the Kitchen Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities

To support the kitchen’s activities in order to maintain an efficient camp for our customers and help to ensure an exceptional customer satisfaction level.

The Baker follows all the rules set out by the Kitchen Manager.

Responsible for the preparation and cooking of the breakfast meal and typically works the night shift.

Supports with weekly inventory counts and supplying grocery requirements to the Kitchen Manager.

Support in unloading the grocery truck, during baker’s normal working hours. Ensure proper lifting techniques are used.

Wear all Personal Protective Equipment that is required to perform your job function safely, including wearing proper white uniforms at all times.

Keep your areas clean, maintained and sanitized after each shift. Examples include helping taking out garbage, doing your dishes and helping to keep coolers, freezers and stock rooms organized.

Support in camp start up and shut down packaging requirements.

Bake all required desserts, breads, buns, squares, pies, cookies, muffins and other food products. Ensure there is proper rotation of all items.

Communicate with the Kitchen Manager in terms of the number of meals served and the names of the crews.

Support in washing the kitchen and dining room walls, ceiling, windows and kitchen ovens areas on a regular basis.

Please ensure that any food allergies that affect the client or Royal Camp Services Ltd. employees are reported to the Kitchen Manager.

Participate in camp inspections conducted by Royal Camp Services Ltd.

Report all injuries to the Kitchen Manager immediately.
